The money wagered on each hand is added to the pot for the next round. The next step of the game involves the placement of each player's naval force on a 10 by 10 grid. Warships may be anything from 1 tile in length to 4 tiles in length. You should organize your fleet in a manner that makes it hard for the other player to predict where your ships will be. Then, the two sides alternately assault one another until one side's fleet is destroyed and the other emerges triumphant.

On the other side, the thrill of the game is amplified in the more challenging Advanced Mode. In this playthrough, players have the option to stock up on weapons before the action even begins. Ship mines, aircraft, subs, and nukes are all up for grabs. In a game where both players are trying to kill each other, this boosts your ability to do harm. But then, how do you spend all that cash? You can expand your city even while you're not in a 1v1 battle. Your port city will improve as you construct monuments like schools, shipyards, industries, and others.
